Members of our J.O. compulsories team compete routines that USA Gymnastics has created in order to build solid basics in gymnastics. This system allows gymnasts to build upon previous skills and advance safely to larger skills as the levels increase. Our compulsory gymnasts have the opportunity to compete in competitions that include state meet.
Members of our J.O. optional team compete routines that allow the creativity of the individual gymnast. Following the guidelines of USA Gymnastics, gymnasts are allowed to chose skills that fit their individual strengths. Skills are more difficult, which requires more time in the gym to allow the gymnast to safely build their skill set. Optional gymnasts have the opportunity to compete in competitions that include state & regional meets.
